Conflict management
The way conflicts are handled in an organisation goes a long way toward establishing a workplace of mutual respect. Front-line employees should never be considered guilty until proven innocent when they have conflicts with managers. Giving your managers the benefit of the doubt in their conflicts with subordinates may seem like the right thing to do since you place trust in your managers, but it can spread resentment and feelings of unfairness throughout the ranks of your company. No matter who conflicts with whom, regardless of rank or seniority, each person has an equal voice in a workplace of mutual respect.
